Ethiopia Yirgacheffe Halo Bariti

The Birthplace of Coffee As the historic home of Coffea arabica, Ethiopia produces singular, highly coveted micro-lots that cannot be replicated anywhere else on Earth. For over five centuries, traditional farming practices have remained untouched. The vast majority of these beans are hand-harvested by smallholder farmers across wild forest plots, semi-forest preserves, and organic garden farms-preserving rare heirloom varieties that deliver unmatched complexity. Process & Profile This origin showcases two distinct flavor profiles depending on the processing method: Washed Lots: Bright, crisp, and floral-delivering high-toned citrus, tropical fruit, and delicate jasmine aromatics. Natural Lots: Intensely sweet and fruit-forward-offering juicy dried berries, fresh jam, and subtle red wine complexity. Tasting Notes & Cup Character Citrus & Jasmine: Bright bergamot and delicate floral aromatics. Tropical Fruit & Dried Berries: Vibrant, layered sweetness that opens up as the cup cools. Red Wine Finish: A smooth, subtle complexity with a lingering, clean finish. Brewing Recommendations Best enjoyed via pour-over (Chemex, Hario V60) to highlight its bright, tea-like clarity and delicate floral notes, or brewed as a vibrant, fruit-driven cold brew.
